It stretched me out good and proper though.
I also went for another lunch time walk. I’m enjoying these daily escapes to stretch the legs, although the pacing must be off, because although I walked fast, I definitely don’t walk through buildings and the like. :P
So yet again my heart rate monitor went dodgy during a workout.
Did I really only burn 7 calories during a 90 minute bikram yoga session HRM ? Are you sure about that?
I don’t think so.
Oh wells, it was definitely a challenging class because I haven’t been in a couple of weeks. Struggled a bit. Will have to get back to a good rhythm. Although I did find out that they are going to have a 12 class for $120 pass thing starting tomorrow, so yay! Going to save myself quite a bit of money with that.
Now time to sleep before weigh in. Looking forward to this one, I haven’t been weighing myself every morning like I used to pre-November challenge. And it should be a good result considering I didn’t have a wedding this past weekend. ;)
I knew my yoga place was hotter than the other one.
I just burnt all the calories!
It was crazy. I struggled so hard but pushed myself, so fun times.
And now I have some hydration tabs to add to my water to keep up my electrolytes.
Time to watch the final episode of Breaking Bad before sleep!
90 minutes of de-stressing through stretching, yes please.
Crazy 5:03am alarm worked! Went and smashed another 6am bikram class with blankmoments.
Struggled a bit yet again, need to find a way to get better hydrated before a morning class. Felt like I had gone back a step in my flexibility, but oh well, at least we went and smashed it!
Now to eat all the food and drink all the water before indoor soccer tonight!
I got corrected a bit in a few postures which was cool. Only bad thing was the room didn’t seem to be as hot as per usual (there was a window open at one stage) so I have a feeling a normal class would burn more, but damn, 795 calories!
I’ve been filling it in as 420 calories.
Fantastic news to know its burning more than I originally thought. And to see its keeping me in that fat burning zone is awesome as well! :)
Now to see what the 1000 steps really burn for me!
I struggled hard.
My body was aching before I got in there, and trying to do those postures destroyed me.
I discovered I have bruises on my knees from Saturday (as opposed to all the cuts I can see), and my neck/shoulders still feel strained.
But I pushed through and did all the poses. Pretty sure I sweated out all the lactic acid. Stunk so bad haha.
Time to chill back with a cup of ACV & water, then sleepy time before weigh in.
Got an exciting announcement to make tomorrow as well!
All of the stretching to hopefully fix all of the DOMS.
Anything to try and not feel pain when I move!
Two sessions in less than 12 hours is killer. This morning was definitely difficult, I hoped drinking a litre of water before bed last night would hydrate me enough after last night’s class to survive this morning.
It didn’t work as well as I had hoped. I was so wrecked this morning, I struggled a lot more than usual, but it was cool, because I think I did some of the poses better.
I’ve already drunk 1.5L of water since I got to work and it’s only been an hour and a bit!
Now to eat all of the carbs so I can recover for The Stampede tomorrow.
Day 1 session number 1 done!
Mr Mike (aka afatboyslimmer) came with me and promised to come to the 6am class with me tomorrow morning! (Yeah that’s right I’m outing you on the Internet Mikey! Now you have to come) now it’s home time to shower inhale the rest of my dinner and go sleeps!!
Indeed! I decided to venture to another bikram yoga studio to take advantage of another 10 day trial as well as have someone to do a class with for once (yay for blankmoments) and although the studio was heaps different to mine it was good!
And now of course
I have been sucked in I have personally opted in with absolutely no thoughts of bailing on doing a 6am class as well as a 6pm class (EDIT: Pretty sure I’m meant to be attending a work EOM dinner thing so I’m a maybe for the 6pm class!).
All of course before The Stampede on Saturday.
Rest? What’s rest?
This means that I get to eat all the carbs during the day tomorrow, right?
Same post as every Tuesday.
Looking forward to another session to stretch out and relieve all this stress.
Hopefully I sweat enough to get a good weigh in tomorrow morning!
