WHY!

Started off so well, then a dog came out of nowhere and I tripped, twisting my non-dodgy ankle and grazing my leg up badly.

Lost my shit at the dog’s owner. There is a reason why the signs say for dogs to stay on their leashes.

Now limping back to the car.

Just great. Today was meant to be a lovely 7.5km run.

Life stop trolling me.

Smashed my run this morning, a glorious 5.82km and for some reason I’m sitting at work in the happiest mood I’ve been in a while.


Went and did 7km on the treadmill this morning.

Afterwards while walking to work got a message from a woman at work who crashed her bike and needed me to take her shoes to her, so I’m up to nearly 13,000 steps and it’s not even 10am!


Just finished running around the Tan with Sam.

Now onwards to get breakfast!

Hit the gym this morning with my best friend. I did just over 20min on the treadmill (ankle was feeling a little sore so I didn’t go crazy) and then did some weights!
Feeling a bit sore now though! This means I’m ready for Tough Mudder in Sydney on Saturday right?

I’m back!

Yay for a 2.9km run! Stretched out my ankle afterwards with the physio’s plan.

All you Fitspreme fan girls will be happy she beat me.

About 500m in to the run my shins suddenly screamed out in pain. Between that and my ankle playing up I had a horrible run.

Wanted to smash it out in less than 1:45 and I took nearly half an hour extra.

Going to have to book myself in to a physio.

Gratz to Fitspreme who smashed it, very proud!

Best run I’ve done all year I would say.

I don’t know how, but at some point my body went into automated jog mode and I just kept going and going. I would have small 2-5 second walks and then keep going again.

That’s why I posted my splits. I was just shocked with how my body kept going. I was in disbelief with how I wasn’t getting puffed out.

I don’t know how to explain it, but I eventually clicked on to how well I was doing but I think I was just more enjoying listening to my music and was happy to let my body keep jogging along until I made the 16km I needed to get back on top of the Nike+ leaderboard.

It was weird, but awesome! Happy with a new 10km PB too (not sure how that was calculated but ok Nike+)

Wish I was faster though! I think I need to up my leg workouts at the gym!

A bit slower than usual due to a few trucks driving past and dusting the road up on us (they are doing some sort of fire prevention stuff).

As we were about to leave a few police motorcycles came into the park - very sketchy!

Another 10km run done this morning! Struggled a little as my knee is now sore from indoor last night.
